Native Land Cares
End of Summer Surprise for Our Nation’s Kids
Olivia’s Winner Draw

Native Land Cares is about finding meaningful ways to show up for our Nation, our culture, and the communities around us.
This summer, we wanted to do something especially for the youngest members of the Unkechaug Nation.
The Native Land Cares End of Summer Kids Raffle was created exclusively for our Nation’s children — a simple way to celebrate our kids, give them something exciting to look forward to, and create another positive memory within our community.
Through Native Land Cares, our commitment is simple:
Carry the Culture and Care for the Community.
A Little End-of-Summer Fun
Before summer came to a close, we invited Unkechaug families to enter their children into our End of Summer Kids Raffle.
We were happy to see so many families participate and excited to create something specifically for our kids.
At the center of the raffle was our End of Summer Prize Basket, built around one last memorable summer experience.
Grand Prize
One child received:
Four Splish Splash tickets for the family, along with additional Native Land Cares swimming and water-park accessories to complete the summer experience.
Two Additional Winners
We also selected two additional winners, each receiving a:
$100 Visa Gift Card
That gave us three winners in total.

And the Winners Are…
We’re excited to congratulate the three winners of the 2026 Native Land Cares End of Summer Kids Raffle.

Congratulations to all three winners, and thank you to every family who participated.
While three names were selected, the bigger purpose was creating something positive specifically for our children and our community.
“Sometimes the smallest moments we create for our children become the memories they carry for a lifetime.”
Carrying the Culture Forward
Not every act of giving has to be enormous to matter.
Sometimes it’s an experience, an outing, a gift, or simply knowing that someone thought enough about our children to create something especially for them.
Those moments can stay with kids long after the day itself is over.
That is part of what Carry the Culture means through Native Land Cares: supporting our youth, strengthening their connection to our Nation and our culture, and continuing to create positive experiences for the next generation.

Culture isn’t simply something we talk about. It is something we continue through our actions and through the experiences we create for our children.
The End of Summer Kids Raffle was one small part of a much larger commitment.
Through Native Land Cares, we will continue finding meaningful ways to support our Nation, celebrate and carry our culture forward, care for our surrounding community, and create experiences that people can carry with them.
Carry the Culture and Care for the Community.
